Like many Japanese people, my husband and I, decided to get up early to see the first sunshine… through the window of our apartment. The sun was bright…and the sky was so blue. This was a sign that 2008 would certainly be a terrific year!
As we wanted to take advantage of this beautiful weather, we decided to go to Enoshima where we have been able to breathe fresh air and see the Fuji Mount…through a little mist.
Despite of the people, we have been able to wander on the Island and see the sea which waves were crushing the rocks of the island. Then, we walked at the seaside where we could enjoy the landscape of beaches and modern buildings which look very similar to the ones of my city in France...
During this walk, we even met Santa Claus…who seemed to be very happy to see us.. He even wanted to kiss us!!! Undoubtedly, there is no age or place to meet this big red man with his with beard who is lucky enough to work only one day per year. And you, have you ever met him?
Long life to the Mouse's Year…and to Santa Claus!
